Recent email correspondence (names omitted) from a parent to a teacher. The child had been receiving handwriting tutoring for 3 sessions at this point.
"Hey Mrs. xxx,
I was writing to you just to check in about X's progress since starting to work with the OT. We have noticed his handwriting has improved, but want to see what other changes you have seen since our last conference, and your thoughts on how long we should continue. "
Response from teacher:
"Thank you for touching base. I have noticed significant progress with X's fine motor. I can't wait for you to see it when their portfolio's go home in the spring. I think this progress carries over with his classwork, there is less frustration with the mechanical process of writing so he is able to get his thoughts on paper a little easier..."

"My boys went to summer camp last year and also took speech therapy at Learning Charms. We had such a wonderful experience with Stephanie and her highly trained professionals. Stephanie also assisted me with a possible OT issue and was incredibly helpful in dealing with our issues. And so caring! At Learning Charms, we feel that the best people to lead classes and camps are professionals that are certified and licensed to do so. We hire only occupational therapists, speech therapists, and highly qualified teachers to lead services. These therapists and teachers have the education, experience, license, and skills to appropriately modify services so that each child gets the "just right" challenge.
Our services are not only developed by experts but taught/led by those experts
Our therapists and teachers develop programming based on educational and clinical experience. When you come to Learning Charms, you will also notice that these same therapists and teachers are the ones that teach your children. No matter if the service is for advanced students, or those needing some fine tuning, be assured that our staff is top notch..most with master's level or advanced degrees & loads of experience. Our location is convenient and set up to be fun and inviting
We are on a side street of 3rd Street between Charlottetowne Avenue and Queens Road. We have ample parking both in the parking lot and on the street. The atmosphere at Learning Charms is fun! You'll notice we play music for the younger kids in the morning (welcome Veggie Tales and Laurie Berkner) and Radio Disney in the afternoons for our school aged kids.
