Is my child right for Learning Charms?
Learning Charms provides occupational therapy, speech therapy, Mommy and Me Classes, handwriting tutoring, classes, and camps to enrich skills of children.
Many of the children we work with are seeking occupational therapy to enrich present or future academic success, to help them be more prepared for demands of kindergarten, and also to develop increased skills needed for entrance to private school.
In addition, our services benefits children who are:
Who is a gifted learner? For our purposes, those are kids who are highly academically successful and enjoy academic or developmental challenges and enrichment.
Developmental Delays?: Children who have mild-moderate developmental delays would benefit from our individual services of speech,or occupational therapy to increase developmental progress.
Children who are not appropriate for Learning Charms?: Not all children would benefit from our services. We specialize in serving children with minimal to moderate needs, and our site does not have the necessary therapeutic equipment and protocols that children with multiple disabilities require. We are happy to offer referrals to clinics that specialize in these diagnoses listed below. Children with these diagnosis(es) or conditions may not be appropriate for Learning Charms:

- children with specific learning disabilities
- children without learning disabilities
- children with mild sensory processing needs/disorders (SPD)
- ADD/ADHD
- children who want a boost in any area in order to increase their academic performance
- children who need a boost in handwriting skills
- children who want to increase sports performance
